Restaurant Boddensee in Birkenwerder

Goose is currently only available to take away ... But this saved us the Santa Claus dinner. Fair price, well prepared and quickly prepared. It's also great that you can easily order online. Thanks!

Yesterday we used the goose service from Restaurant Boddensee. It was so tasty. As a layman on the subject of goose, the tips on the finish ensured that the skin was crispy and very tasty! The side dishes were also to our liking. Unfortunately I can only choose five stars here, would give more if available!

Beautifully located, personal care from a very nice waiter, responded to our requests and still had time for a conversation and at the end we got a present! The roast goose was delicious!

The service was incredibly inattentive and slow, even though the restaurant was only half full and there was enough staff. The food is not adjusted to the price. 2 drinks in 3 hours, table dirty. Dessert was only brought after 90 minutes. The only thing that was unbelievable was the beautiful view.

Not much to say. Only that we sat down and after 5 minutes the menu was brought to us, after another 20 minutes we left without ordering. It wasn't that crowded at all. When we left, we only got a snotty arm movement and a questioning look from a waitress. We give a star for this, because no star does not work.

We waited over an hour and a half for the plum cake. Before that, we were moved in a very unfriendly way from an allegedly reserved table right by the water to another table. Since we spent a total of almost 3 hours there, we could see that the table was not occupied. The cake was okay. The view is very nice too.

We have been guests several times and ate very well. Brunch is excellent and everything is very tasty, the ambience and location are beautiful. Unfortunately, the service is not on the ball. Management a bit arrogant. Personnel were commanded sharply in front of the guests. Still a positive overall impression.

With great weather we could enjoy the time on the terrace. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The food tasted very good and was sufficient. We recommend!!! We would love to come back!

We celebrated our wedding in the restaurant on Lake Boddensee and were happy to be guests there before. The staff is super friendly, the owner always took care of us. A great location, nice atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, we were all happy. Definitely recommended and we will definitely be happy to come back again and again!

The male, older waitress was patronizing and not particularly friendly. The questions about the desired menu became pointless, since everything was rejected as not applicable. There was only one example on the map. The covered terrace was too cold. The four of us sat in jackets and sweaters. The duck and the homemade roulades were kept warm for too long and not really fresh. A requested cake was mentioned as a deep-frozen purchased product when asked. The overall impression: unsatisfactory. We don't go there anymore. Price-performance ratio is not right.

We really liked it. The location of the restaurant is very nice, right on the lake, very idyllic. Food, chanterelle menu, was excellent. Service very courteous and absolutely competent. A worthwhile excursion!

A very nice restaurant on the lake .. Today I was there with my work for the first time, directly outside on the terrace (almost on the lake) .. It was busy so that we unfortunately had to wait too long, like other tables, so that a few errors occurred in the service (wrong food, no cutlery, etc.) in spite of everything it was a very nice day and a restaurant that I can recommend .. The food was very tasty ? and the service tries to please everyone ?

Beautifully located restaurant directly on Lake Boddensee. When the weather is nice, there is a great opportunity to sit on the outdoor terrace directly above the water. The ambience is really worth seeing. The food was great too. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the warm dishes, we only stopped for ice cream. But the food at the next tables looked really delicious. Unfortunately, you really have to wait a lot. That was the case years ago and has not really improved. On the whole, but a very nice restaurant. It is definitely worth a visit.

I am allowed to attend a wedding reception here. Food, drink, service and the location are great - a good spirit hovers over it. Sufficient and free parking spaces are also helpful. And it's also nice to have an in-house raft for a little tour of Lake Constance. I have reserved the location for my own events.

That was a real pleasure in the restaurant on Lake Boddensee! Two of us were there for the 4-course menu, there were three companies to serve and yet the team managed to make us feel very good on Saturday evening. Always friendly, open-minded, asked a lot. Everything happened quickly. And great food on top of that! Everything was right here and we'd love to come back and recommend you to others!

Awful service and really bad quality: we made a reservation for 6 pm, for 4 person plus kid. The guys have given us a table, but dirty one they have promised to clean it in 2 minutes. After 20 minutes we decided to clean by ourselves. No table cloth, nothing which would say:yes, the price is worth of this Restaurant and it's services. We ordered drinks in 10 minutes and received it in 30 minutes. Our food we had to wait for another hour, with little kid under 2 years, who haven't even been offered a baby chair or extra baby plate, folk, spoon, etc. The food at the End was really cold and...we have gotten a feeling that is was prepared already long time ago and just warmed a bit to serve. And it all took 1,5 hours!! My worst experience in Berlin and its surroundings ever

Food and service itself okay. They were low on staff and it took 30-40 min for drinks and another for food. It was not even half the tables taken. However if making the drinks takes a good half hour at least a free water would have been nice on such a hot day. Other guests got a free coffee after complaining.

Nice place ?

We were eating here on a Saturday around 5pm, it was very nice weather so we could sit on the terrace right by the water. Really nice. The service was nice. We had duck and liver, it tasted good. Prices are a bit higher. We had to order a small side salad, it was very small, almost only green leaves, almost no dressing, but we found 6 € rude. Otherwise we were satisfied.

The atmosphere at the lake was nice. But I didn't like the food very much. It didn't taste really fresh.

Beautiful settling. Great staff and a varied and we'll executed menu. I had a lovely time!!

Really tasty 4-course meal. The place has a nice atmosphere, personnel is kind. Dogs are allowed.

We spent a very nice evening on the terrace and enjoyed a delicious asparagus menu. Beautiful location right on the lake makes the menu taste even better. The attentive and very friendly service leaves nothing to be desired. Overall, a successful restaurant visit on the Boddensee. Only at the rear parking lot you should drive a little more cautious. The potholes on the unpaved terrain are already a bit deeper.

The worst experience ever, I will never visit this place again!

This is located on a lake, has 2 decks, one is enclosed the other larger oone has umbrellas for shade. I has eaten their about 5 times and each time it has been a pleasure. The food is wonderful and service quick. Today had a terrific, smiling, helpful waitress who is very personable and efficient. The place is clean and just enjoyable.

The setting is nice, provided that you go there in winter when there are no mosquitoes. But that’s about all. Waiters are not really professional, Berlin style attitude with a touch of rudeness. Moreover, the food we had (12 people ordering different dishes a la cart, was not really tasty. Well below average. We were all disappointed.
